Author Sam Osherson To Speak

On Saturday,February 21st, Sam Osherson Nelson resident, will talk about his new novel. The Stethoscope Cure is about a young psychiatrist struggling to work with Veterans in the New York VA hospital during the Vietnam War. Sam will also talk about the virtues of writing (and reading) fiction v. nonfiction and why he chose to write a novel set during in the late 1960s, a tumultuous time in this country.
